He paid a fortune having to buy right at season start too (like $1600 and change). I told him he needed to level it properly, not sure he ever did. Hey everyone, I have a Craftsman dyt 4000. I bought the mower new in 2004 it has 336 hours on it 18.5 hp with a 42"deck. I am thinking about getting a larger mower and I am just wondering what I might be able to get out of my old one. What do you all think a good price would be.

I've pushed the bypass lever all the way in but it will rolls freely. When I trace the bypass lever back I can feel it moving the switch on the transmission. The drive belt may be on the pulley but so worn or stretched that it won’t engage fully. A worn or stretched belt can easily slip on the pulley. The belt may also have slipped off the pully.
