I can send a text message from my Verizon cell phone to my Outlook e-mail with no problem. Those arrive immediately. Also, I have no problem sending e-mail messages from my gmail email account to the same Verizon cell #. Those are delivered immediately. So I think the problem is on the send side and not the receive side.
